Welcome to

Shakti Education and Welfare Association

Shakti Education and Welfare Association was initiated in 2018 when a group of friends came together with the intention of giving back to the society. They were inspired by the thought and philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi, the founder of the Society for Organizational Learning who has propagated that “sustainability, social equality and the environment are now business problems…” and corporate leaders can’t expect governments to solve them alone.
Disposable incomes and early settlements became a living reality for the working middle-class. For the first time in India, professionals could think beyond making a living, and contribute towards the society.

Group of students teaching Underprivileged Children
Teaching underprivileged students in villages free of cost brings about multifaceted benefits that extend far beyond the immediate academic realm. Firstly, it contributes significantly to breaking the cycle of poverty by providing these students with an invaluable resource – education. Education empowers individuals with knowledge and skills, enabling them to escape the clutches of poverty and make informed decisions about their lives.

Moreover, offering education without a financial burden fosters inclusivity and equal opportunities. It ensures that all children, regardless of their economic background, have access to quality education, thereby promoting social justice. This inclusivity not only benefits the individual students but also enhances the overall socio-economic fabric of the community, as a well-educated population is better equipped to contribute to the development of society.

Teaching in villages free of cost also has a transformative impact on the community itself. By investing in the education of underprivileged students, we invest in the community's future. These students, once educated, become agents of change within their communities, breaking down barriers and inspiring others to pursue education. This creates a positive ripple effect, fostering a culture of learning and growth.

Furthermore, providing education in villages free of cost promotes sustainable development. Educated individuals are more likely to make environmentally conscious decisions and engage in activities that promote the well-being of their communities. In this way, education becomes a catalyst for holistic development, encompassing social, economic, and environmental dimensions.

Lastly, teaching underprivileged students in villages free of cost is a testament to the values of compassion and social responsibility. It reflects a commitment to building a more equitable society where everyone, regardless of their socio-economic status, has the opportunity to thrive. In essence, the benefits of this altruistic endeavor extend beyond the classroom, creating a positive impact that resonates through generations and contributes to the overall betterment of society.

Beyond the economic aspect, free education instills a sense of hope and aspiration in slum communities. It cultivates a positive mindset, encouraging students to dream big and aspire for a better future. Mr. Atul Kumar (SDM Moth Jhansi)
Mr. Atul Kumar SDM Moth Jhansi visited our FREE LIBRARY Donation Drive, inviting you to join our mission of providing warmth to the poor. While many enjoy the season with home comforts, for the less fortunate, dropping temperatures mean a daily struggle on the cold streets. Our Blanket Donation Campaign is a testament to our commitment, aiming to distribute high-quality warm blankets, essential rations, and dignity kits to those on the streets, extending beyond jhansi to other parts of neighboring Areas. The gift of a warm blanket during winter is significant, preventing discomfort and severe illnesses for countless homeless individuals. This year, early winter onset and rising air pollution levels make them more vulnerable, creating an opportunity for us to extend warmth and care. Join our mission this winter and experience the unparalleled satisfaction of making a difference and potentially saving a life. Our journey is possible thanks to generous donors and compassionate corporations.

SEWA- Free Library

The establishment of free libraries in villages can bring about numerous benefits for the local community. Here are some of the key advantages:

1. ACCESS TO INFORMATION : Free libraries provide villagers with access to a wide range of books, magazines, and other reading materials. This access to information can be crucial for education, self-improvement, and staying informed about the world.

2. EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY ; Libraries serve as educational hubs where villagers, especially students, can find resources to supplement their formal education. This can help bridge gaps in knowledge and enhance academic performance.

3. PROMOTION OF LITRACY ; Free libraries contribute to the promotion of literacy by providing a space where people can develop and improve their reading and writing skills. This is especially important in communities where literacy rates may be lower.

4. CULTURE ENLIGHTMENT ; Libraries often house a variety of literature, including local and regional works. This helps preserve and promote the cultural heritage of the community, fostering a sense of identity and pride.

5. COMMUNITY GATHERING SPACE ; Libraries can serve as community centers where people come together for various activities such as book clubs, workshops, and events. This fosters a sense of community and encourages social interaction.

6. SKILL DEVELOPMENT ; Libraries can offer resources beyond traditional books, including online courses, DVDs, and other educational materials. This supports skill development and lifelong learning among villagers.

7. TECHNOLOGY ACCESS; Many modern libraries are equipped with computers and internet access. This can be valuable for villagers who may not have easy access to technology, enabling them to explore online resources and enhance their digital literacy.

8. CARRIER DEVELOPMENT; Libraries can provide information about career opportunities, job search resources, and guidance on skill development, thereby contributing to the economic well-being of the community.

9. HEALTH INFORMATION ; Libraries often carry materials related to health and well-being. This can empower villagers to make informed decisions about their health and adopt healthier lifestyles.

10. ENCOURAGING THE LOVE OF READING ; By making books freely available, libraries help instill a love for reading from an early age. This not only benefits academic performance but also fosters a lifelong appreciation for literature and learning. In summary, free libraries in villages play a crucial role in enhancing education, promoting literacy, fostering community engagement, and providing access to a diverse range of resources that contribute to the overall development and well-being of the community. ?? ?? ?? ?? ???? ?????? ?? ??? ?? ??? ??? ???????? ?????? ???? ???? ?????? ??? ?????? ???????? ??? ???? ?? ?????? ??? ??? ??? ????? ??? ???????? ???? ?? ?????? ???
