Welcome to

Shakti Education and Welfare Association

Shakti Education and Welfare Association was initiated in 2018 when a group of friends came together with the intention of giving back to the society. They were inspired by the thought and philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi, the founder of the Society for Organizational Learning who has propagated that “sustainability, social equality and the environment are now business problems…” and corporate leaders can’t expect governments to solve them alone.
Disposable incomes and early settlements became a living reality for the working middle-class. For the first time in India, professionals could think beyond making a living, and contribute towards the society.

Group of students teaching Underprivileged Children
Teaching underprivileged students in villages free of cost brings about multifaceted benefits that extend far beyond the immediate academic realm. Firstly, it contributes significantly to breaking the cycle of poverty by providing these students with an invaluable resource – education. Education empowers individuals with knowledge and skills, enabling them to escape the clutches of poverty and make informed decisions about their lives.

Moreover, offering education without a financial burden fosters inclusivity and equal opportunities. It ensures that all children, regardless of their economic background, have access to quality education, thereby promoting social justice. This inclusivity not only benefits the individual students but also enhances the overall socio-economic fabric of the community, as a well-educated population is better equipped to contribute to the development of society.

Teaching in villages free of cost also has a transformative impact on the community itself. By investing in the education of underprivileged students, we invest in the community's future. These students, once educated, become agents of change within their communities, breaking down barriers and inspiring others to pursue education. This creates a positive ripple effect, fostering a culture of learning and growth.

Furthermore, providing education in villages free of cost promotes sustainable development. Educated individuals are more likely to make environmentally conscious decisions and engage in activities that promote the well-being of their communities. In this way, education becomes a catalyst for holistic development, encompassing social, economic, and environmental dimensions.

Lastly, teaching underprivileged students in villages free of cost is a testament to the values of compassion and social responsibility. It reflects a commitment to building a more equitable society where everyone, regardless of their socio-economic status, has the opportunity to thrive. In essence, the benefits of this altruistic endeavor extend beyond the classroom, creating a positive impact that resonates through generations and contributes to the overall betterment of society.

BIET Students teaching slum children
Teaching slum students free of cost is a transformative initiative that yields numerous benefits. Firstly, it addresses the glaring educational disparities, providing an equal opportunity for underprivileged children to break the cycle of poverty through education. This approach fosters inclusivity and social cohesion by narrowing the gap between different socio-economic strata, promoting a more equitable society.

Moreover, free education for slum students contributes to the overall development of a nation. It taps into latent potential, nurturing talents that might otherwise remain untapped. Education empowers individuals with knowledge and skills, enhancing their employability and opening doors to economic opportunities. As these students grow into educated and skilled citizens, they become valuable contributors to the workforce and economic development.

Beyond the economic aspect, free education instills a sense of hope and aspiration in slum communities. It cultivates a positive mindset, encouraging students to dream big and aspire for a better future. Education is not only about academics but also about instilling values, fostering critical thinking, and promoting civic responsibility, contributing to the overall well-being of both individuals and society.

In conclusion, teaching slum students free of cost is a powerful investment in human potential, social harmony, and national progress, with far-reaching positive consequences for the individuals involved and the community at large.

Mr. Atul Kumar (SDM Moth Jhansi)
Mr. Atul Kumar SDM Moth Jhansi visited our FREE LIBRARY Donation Drive, inviting you to join our mission of providing warmth to the poor. While many enjoy the season with home comforts, for the less fortunate, dropping temperatures mean a daily struggle on the cold streets. Our Blanket Donation Campaign is a testament to our commitment, aiming to distribute high-quality warm blankets, essential rations, and dignity kits to those on the streets, extending beyond jhansi to other parts of neighboring Areas. The gift of a warm blanket during winter is significant, preventing discomfort and severe illnesses for countless homeless individuals. This year, early winter onset and rising air pollution levels make them more vulnerable, creating an opportunity for us to extend warmth and care. Join our mission this winter and experience the unparalleled satisfaction of making a difference and potentially saving a life. Our journey is possible thanks to generous donors and compassionate corporations.

The First Engineer from His Village

Someone asked me what good thing happened to me in 2024, and today I want to share this with all of you.

Ravi Ahirwar is a child who, because of severe financial hardship, could never even dream of getting admission into an engineering college. Today, that same child is studying at a reputed engineering college.

Just like financially well-off people dream big and think about reaching high positions, those very thoughts and aspirations have now awakened in this child as well.

Our only effort is to show economically weaker children a path that prepares them to reach any height in the world.

In villages, the biggest limitation is financial hardship. Yet, despite this, there are some families who remain aware and determined to educate their children. Ravi Ahirwar is one such child who, due to family struggles, had to discontinue his studies several times. But with continuous encouragement and motivation, he kept returning to his studies and moving forward.

Today, he is studying in an engineering college.

Now this child will uplift not just himself, but his entire future generation. His progress will continue through the generations. For me, this is my greatest achievement so far — helping a child reach a level where he can establish his coming generations in a better and more dignified position.

His father works as a daily wage laborer. The family does not even have a proper house to live in. His mother remains unwell most of the time. Despite all these circumstances, continuing his education itself is a remarkable achievement.

When all comforts and facilities are available, many people can study easily. But due to financial weakness, many children completely break down and are unable to see any direction forward.
